Privacy policy

Summary

Tally does not collect any personal data. The app has no account and no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.

Your data stays on your device

The people, circles, loops, notes and photos you add are stored only on your device. Tally does not send them to any server, and there is no cloud sync today. Deleting the app deletes its data. As with any app, if you back up your iPhone, iOS may include Tally’s data in that backup.

Contacts and photos

When you add someone from Contacts or choose a photo, iOS shows its own picker, outside the app. Tally only receives what you pick — for a contact, details such as the name, job title, photo and email address — and never has access to the rest. No Contacts or Photos permission is requested.

Reminders and badge

The optional daily reminder and the overdue badge on the app icon are local notifications, prepared on your device. Turning them on asks for notification permission; nothing is sent to a server.

Sharing and email

Sharing a person’s open loops uses the iOS share sheet. Emailing a summary opens your own mail app with a draft that you can edit or discard. Tally itself sends nothing.
